Wool and silk

General advice: Wool felts (shrinks) by putting it through motion in warm water. Therefore do not wring it or rub it together but only pivot it lightly.

1. Hand wash by 30°C with wool detergent or shampoo
2. Rinse with the same temperature while also maintaining it
3. Add 2 tablespoons of household vinegar to the last rinse water (It keeps the colours fresh and helps neutralizing possible leftovers from the soap)
4. Squeeze gently (no wringing)
5. While still wet pull it into form and hang it up to dry or just lay it down flat (don’t use a dryer)
6. Ironing is not necessary but you can if you use low temperature and a wet piece of cloth
